When you reach a certain level, to improve and make your Spanish more precise, you have to find somebody with innate ability as an editor. You have to realize the person's ability and take advantage of it too.

What I used to study was my textbook from school. I used to read aloud the parts that I will learn day after and also read aloud what I learned in the class. I think I read the same part like 100 times.

Reading aloud and memorization are things that you can't skip by. Don't read to memorize. Read to understand the meaning. Do this for 10-30 minutes every day.

They taught me the right pronunciation and reading aloud from the start. I read in my home all the time too.

First, listen to the right pronunciation many times. Then, try to say it aloud just like what you listened. Finally, correct the wrong pronunciation. Have someone help you to do this.

I try to talk in Spanish even if it's a little bit difficult. I take note on parts that I couldn't express myself to find out a perfect expression later.

I talk to myself about what happened during the day before going to bed. Sometimes I think about how I would respond if someone interviews me.

Memorized daily expressions and basic grammars by saying them aloud. Also, I wrote them on paper many times. I think I memorized more than 500 sentences. I still remember them though.

Even if it doesn't make much sense, I try to talk to my Spanish teacher with Spanish. Making a presentation in Spanish was a really good opportunity for me to use Spanish.

I ask lots of questions and try to talk a lot in my class. Also I talk to my friends who are about as good as I am or better in Spanish. If we get stuck on something, we talk it over in English to find out how we could say it next time.

I made the opportunities to use Spanish by myself. I've been a member of "The Spanish Table" (a club to talk in Spanish). When I went there, I already had a topic to talk about and I had it well practiced in my head. I loved it when the conversation went on exactly like I've planned out before. After the conversation, I reviewed some things that I wanted to say but I couldn't.

I listened (Spanish) radio every day. Said aloud what I learned. And tried to use it whenever I could. It's so simple but if you do it every day, it really helps a lot.
